The PCRRHS has developed a number of decal sets for the benefit of modelers. Below are our decal sets currently in stock and available:
This set is specifically designed to letter former PRR H34, H34A, H34B, H34C, H34E, and former NYC Lot 860-H Pullman Standard 77 ton, 2003 cu. ft. 2-bay covered hoppers. It contains black reporting marks, PC heralds, a variety of numbers and all of the small data. This set was designed for cars painted in the light gray scheme and includes a stencil for LIME LOAD ONLY service. There is enough data, numbers and reporting marks to completely letter one car.
This set is specifically designed to letter former PRR H34, H34A, H34B, H34C, H34E, and former NYC Lot 860-H Pullman Standard 77 ton, 2003 cu. ft. 2-bay covered hoppers. It contains white stenciling and was designed to letter the same classes of former PRR and NYC covered hoppers as PCH-8, only in the PC Green scheme. These cars were lettered for SAND LOADING ONLY. A number of these cars sported a large yellow "S" to denote company service. The "S" is available on Microscale set 87-1202 for PRR box cars. As with PCH-8, there is enough data to completely letter one car.
This NEW set for December 2021 is a comprehensive, multi-colored sheet covering just about every type of PC vehicle and truck trailer. The majority of decals on this sheet have never been done before. Dozens of photos were reviewed, and where available, measurements were taken from sign panels and decals owned by Society members. Six colors plus black and white were required to accurately reproduce the various graphics. Many different trucks and trailers can be lettered from one set.
The graphics included, generally from top to bottom on the sheet, are:
Large Trailer side decals in three styles
Green and red Excelsior Leasing keystone shaped decals
Round PRR truck decals

Small herald and name decals for trailer rear doors

Set PCH-11 provides the standard “wide” style of freight car numbers as solid and stenciled, along with a variety of “PC” reporting marks, the “PENN CENTRAL” roadname, and trust data. This set contains 9” tall numbers as used on many freight cars and some cabooses. They are provided in both the common solid style and in a stenciled style. The 9-5/8” tall roadname in this set is appropriate for most freight cars and locomotives and is slightly longer than the roadname in the Microscale sets. Most freight cars had trust data stenciling in the upper right hand corner of the sides, with several configurations included in this set to represent this common detail.
This HO scale decal set can letter two PRR H43 hopper cars that feature the "yellow ball" on the upper left hand side of the car and the "plain PRR keystone". This set has all of the necessary lettering for all PRR H43 subclasses and will letter two cars.

Penn Central Red "P"/White "C" Diesel Logos as they appeared freshly painted when applied in 1968. (Most of these units were repainted by 1971/1972.) This set includes the hood unit style and F and GP style logos plus the standard nose logos. This set provides the correct color for "red" portion of the logo, which was not a "true" red but rather a more pastel shade of red.
