The PCRRHS is pleased to offer the following line of decals for modelers.
Penn Central caboose decals. Includes data for all PC caboose classes. Data includes: lube, trust data and striping. One set can letter at least two or three cars. $4.00 per set.
Completely revised in Sept. 2010 with all new artwork! White graphics includes several sizes of logos, two sizes of roadnames, PRR freight and small PC style numbers, striping for early repaints, all class designations, several Regions and Divisions, end lettering, new/built/rebuilt dates, and lots of small data. Combine with existing sets to do almost any PC caboose. For PC style numbers as used on many Canada Division cars use PCH-7. For PRR style large numbers use Microscale 87-84. For NYC style lettering use with Microscale 87-1286. For later cars with consolidated stencils use PCH-6 with Microscale black trimfilm or obtain from other sources. $6.00 per set.
Penn Central H43 Coal Hoppers. This set includes the early and late styles of lettering found on these cars. The "early" version has the large two panel PC logo and the words "PENN CENTRAL" spelled out beneath it. Set has PRR-style numbers. The later scheme includes the small standard sized PC logo with the italicized PC reporting marks and car numbers. Data includes brake shoe, trust and repack stencils, end lettering, etc. $6.00 per set.
This set contains a variety of styles and sizes of "worms" logos as during the eight year history of the Penn Central. The set includes the standard version of the logos for hood units in two sizes and the nose logos. Also included are the logos as applied by GE to U33B's, U33C's and U23C diesels which sport a more "rounded" look. Included are the "squarish" large logos as seen on the as-delivered ALCO C636 diesels and the 3rd rail electric locomotives. Finally, this set includes the elongated PC nose logos that were applied to the nose of various units during the early years of the PC. $4.00 per set.
Penn Central Red "P"/White "C" Diesel Logos as they appeared freshly painted. This set includes the hood unit style and F and GP style logos plus the standard nose logos. This set provides the correct color for "red" portion of the logo, which was not a "true" red but rather a more pastel shade of red. $3.50 per set.
Penn Central faded Red "P"/White "C" Diesel logos as they appeared once the red "p" had faded. This set includes the hood unit, F and GP style logos, as well as the standard nose logos. This set provides the correct color for the faded red "P" portion of the logo. $3.50 per set.
This set was designed to supply the small lettering found on many freight cars and cabooses during the PC era. Set includes 17 pairs of trust information in several different arrangements, 20 pairs of consolidated stencils in 5 different styles, as well as brake shoe, lube, wheel spring, and truck data. $3.50 per set.
The correct PC style "thin" font is now available as applied to many locomotives and some cabooses, as well some early Amtrak locomotives and locomotives renumbered by Conrail. The large number jumble provided will do most locomotives with only 2 pieces. One set provides for many number combinations. Developed in CAD from an original blueprint and screen printed. $5.00 per set.
This set is specifically designed to letter former PRR H34, H34A, H34B, H34C, H34E, and former NYC Lot 860-H Pullman Standard 77 ton, 2003 cu. ft. 2-bay covered hoppers. It contains black reporting marks, PC heralds, a variety of numbers and all of the small data. This set was designed for cars painted in the light gray scheme and includes a stencil for LIME LOAD ONLY service. There is enough data, numbers and reporting marks to completely letter one car. $6.00 per set.
This set is specifically designed to letter former PRR H34, H34A, H34B, H34C, H34E, and former NYC Lot 860-H Pullman Standard 77 ton, 2003 cu. ft. 2-bay covered hoppers. It contains white stenciling and was designed to letter the same classes of former PRR and NYC covered hoppers as PCH-8, only in the PC Green scheme. These cars were lettered for SAND LOADING ONLY. A number of these cars sported a large yellow "S" to denote company service. The "S" is available on Microscale set 87-1202 for PRR box cars. As with PCH-8, there is enough data to completely letter one car. $6.00 per set.
This HO scale decal set will letter two locomotives, either combinations of EMD or ALCO. Contains large 10" name and 12" road numbers never made before in HO scale. Since NYC F and FA units made it into Penn Central (and could be seen for at least two years), the lettering on this set would be useful to those who model early PC. $8.00 per set.
This set is for the "Century Green" NYC cabooses of the '60's. This set includes "Cigar band" heralds in three sizes, lube and paint date stenciling and the italicized "ROAD TO THE FUTURE", NYC initials, numbers and end lettering. Up to three cars can be lettered with this set. $5.00 per set.
This set includes the logos for the nose and cab sides of NYC hood units, plus the correct lettering for the hood sides and road numbers in both 8" and 12". This set will do several locomotives depending on your choice of the prototype. This set also includes the NEW YORK CENTRAL name sized correctly for GE U25B and U28B hood side applications. This set is used for GP7, GP9, GP20, GP30, GP35 and GP40 locomotives. $7.00 per set.
Completely revised! This HO scale decal set can letter two PRR H43 hopper cars that feature the "yellow ball" on the upper left hand side of the car and the "plain PRR keystone". This set has all of the necessary lettering for all PRR H43 subclasses and will letter two cars. $6.00 per set.
HO scale Pennsy black lettering for "Focal Orange" cabin cars (1960's). This set is for several PRR cabin cars lettered with black graphics instead of the usual white lettering and logos. Each set includes two sizes of keystones and enough data to letter two cars. $2.50 per set.
Norfolk Southern diesel data, post-Conrail takeover. This set includes the small diesel model designations. Applies to all diesel models. Includes the "block" style PRR initials applied to repainted Conrail diesels. $2.00 per set.
