Penn Central heritage unit information

According to information posted at NSDash9.com, Norfolk Southern's Penn Central heritage unit will be an EMD SD70ACe numbered 1073, with expected delivery the week of June 28, 2012. More information to come as we get it!

NS to paint a Penn Central heritage unit after all

On March 15, Norfolk Southern added Penn Central as the 19th paint scheme to be used in its heritage unit fleet. The Penn Central heritage unit will be an EMD SD70ACe that will be built at EMD's plant in Muncie, Indiana, as part of NS's current order for ten units to be numbered 1065-1074 and slated for delivery during the secord quarter of 2012.
